High Standards

A standard of excellence in personalized dental care enables us to provide the quality dental services our patients deserve. We provide comprehensive treatment planning and use restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve your optimal dental health. Should a dental emergency occur, we make every effort to see and care for you as soon as possible.

Education & Prevention

As a practice, we are true believers that preventative care and education are the keys to optimal dental health. We strive to provide "dental health care" vs. "disease care." That is why we focus on thorough exams by checking the overall health of your teeth and gums, performing oral cancer exams, and taking x-rays when necessary. We also know that routine cleanings, flossing, sealants, and fluoride are all helpful in preventing dental disease. Not only are we focused on the beauty of your smile, we're also concerned about your health. A review of your medical history can help us stay informed of your overall health, any new medications, and any illnesses that may impact your dental health.

Decay Risk Assessment - The emerging biofilm science is changing how we look at decay as a disease model.  The new technologies in our office better assess, detect and diagnose signs of disease presence, progression and activity levels.  Since we strive to provide dental "health care" as opposed to dental "disease care," it is important that we utilize this technology to provide our patients with preventative and conservative care.

Cone-Beam 3D - We have utilized digital x-ray technology in our office since 2002.  We are now one of very few providers in the area to offer 3-D Cone-Beam technology.   3-D Cone-Beam images allow us to better diagnose, treatment plan, and perform advanced surgical procedures such as bone grafting, implant placement, and surgical extraction of impacted teeth.  We are able to evaluate root canal failures and better assess radiographic pathology that appears on the conventional 2-D radiographs.  This new Cone-Beam 3-D technology should eliminate investigative surgeries and help us treat and plan many surgical procedures.  We are always concerned with the amount of radiation which anyone receives for a dental visit.  The Cone-Beam that we are utilizing in our office is a focused cone-beam,  with 15 times less radiation than a medical cone-beam and four times less radiation than the cone-beams utilized in dentistry in the past.

CEREC 3D - An advanced technology that is used to replace failing restorations, broken teeth and old silver fillings with beautiful porcelain fillings or crowns in just one visit. CEREC uses CAD/CAM technology, incorporating a camera, computer and milling machine all in one instrument. Using a special camera, Dr. Allen takes a precise digital image of the prepared tooth, avoiding the traditional physical impression. This optical impression is transferred and displayed on a color computer monitor where he designs the restoration by 3-D CAD technology. Then CAM takes over and automatically creates the life-like porcelain restoration right in our office, while our patients enjoy a few minutes for business calls, emails or relaxation. Finally, the doctor bonds the restoration to the surface of the prepared tooth producing a “new” tooth that rejuvenates the smile instantly.

Uncompromising Safety

Infection control in our office is also very important to us. To protect our patients and ourselves, we strictly maintain sterilization and cross contamination processes using standards recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

Training & Expertise

As your dental health professionals, we want you to be confident knowing that we are a team of highly trained and skilled clinicians. We pride ourselves in providing the care you need to keep your smile healthy. To give you the best possible service and results, we are committed to continuing education and learning. We attend dental lectures, meetings, and dental conventions to stay informed of new techniques, the latest products, and the newest equipment that a modern dental office can utilize to provide state-of-the-art dental care. Also, being members of various professional dental associations helps us to stay abreast of the changes and recommendations for our profession.

A Positive Experience

Building a foundation of trust by treating our patients as special individuals is vital to our success. We understand how uneasy some patients may feel about their dental visits, and how we can make a difference in providing a relaxing and positive experience.
